Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation

Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation (BCMSR) is the official scout camp of the Baltimore Area Council. Broad Creek is located in Harford County about 5 minutes from the PA border. The camp is about 1641 acres large and full of camping and program opportunities for a Scout of any age.

NEW THIS SUMMER
- New Reservation water front “The Susquehanna Aquatics Center” on the Susquehanna River. Almost all programs and merit badges will be moved from the lake to our new water front with many new programs to be added.
- Sailing and sailing merit badges are back at Broad Creek. Come sail with us on the Susquehanna River at Broad Creek’s new Aquatic Center.
- Van shuttle service to and from the new water front, lost pines, and camp.
- Opening this summer is our rock quarry water park with rides on and below the water. This is the only high adventure water park in a scout camp in the United States. The water is treated with the same chemical Disney uses to keep their parks water Caribbean blue.
- New camp menu featuring a full salad bar
- Camp road improvements.
- PGA golf courses with club house cart, merit badges and lunch.
- Snorkeling camp with professional mask, snorkeling vest, fins with booties. Earn this scout patch not in a pool, but a rock quarry with wrecks to explore all being taught by a certified scuba instructor.
- New Rosenberg Welcome Center- former reservation administration building.
- New computer lab, cinema lab and photography lab, all air-conditioned offering the latest merit badges at camp.
The BCMSR runs all year-round offering several different types of camping areas, which include:
